Homemade Blackberry Jam

More blackberries!! Honestly, we picked so many I'm struggling to get rid of them all, so to make a significant dent in our stash I decided to make my first ever homemade jam! I definitely made a dent, I ended up making 5 jars of the stuff... At least we won't be running out of jam any time soon!

Blackberries are so easy to find in the wild over the summer, and with all this hot weather they're growing in abundance! I love blackberry picking; it always feels (and tastes) so much better baking with ingredients you have hand picked yourself. I have always wanted to make a pie, so settled on an absolute classic - blackberry and apple pie!
