Wishlist

Ok, so I admitted in an earlier post that I was trying to save money this term, but that doesn't mean I can't do a bit of window shopping, right? (and maybe invest in a purchase or two...). My staple fashion piece seems to be plain black leggings, so I'm on a hunt to widen my wardrobe a bit!

I have to admit, when Mom jeans came back into fashion last year I wasn't convinced - they were the complete opposite to my preferred skinny skinny jean! But now, for some reason unknown to me, I've switched to the other side and am after my own pair. Despite these being a bit on the pricey side for my student budget, I tried these ones on from Topshop the other day and loved them! They are effortlessly cool and relaxed, as well as being super comfy and durable! I still have a bit of a fear of looking a little frumpy, but hopefully styled with a crop top or a tucked in t-shirt I'd be able to avoid that issue!

But I couldn't stray from the skinny jeans for too long! I love these high waisted ones from Topshop, but looking for a cheaper alternative, I found these ones from River Island. I love how flattering they are, narrowing the waist and creating the illusion of super long pin-up legs. And they make your bum look amazing!

When it's cold, or when I feel like going a bit more casual, I'll wear my usual leggings on a night out, maybe even stretch to some leather-look ones if I'm feeling a bit more fancy! However, I've found that I can't really wear crop tops with them, mainly due to the lack of confidence to have my midriff on show to the world. So disco pants seem like the perfect solution to this problem! They are as comfy as leggings, but have the shine to make them look a bit more dressy, while the high waist offers a bit more covering.

What are your thoughts? Got any suggestions on where to look for new jeans or disco pants?

Thank for reading!

Love, Beth xxx
