10 things I'm looking forward to about summer

Woopsy I'm meant to be doing work, how did I end up on here? Procrastination yay!

After days of lovely sunny weather, all of which I couldn't really fully enjoy because of being stuck inside with my dissertation woes, my mind's been wandering forward to summer. And now the sunny weather is getting a bit more cloudy, I'm even more desperate for the summer heat and sun to arrive (fingers and toes crossed that pesky rain stays away)! Here are 10 things I'm looking forward to about summer....

1. No more work!

I've been non-stop writing essays and my dissertation for the whole of the easter "break" (pah! what break?), but after the 5th May it's all over! I cannot wait!

2. Party party

As it's my last term at uni and all the hard work will be handed in, there's only one thing left to do... party!

3. Sunbathe

I'm currently looking less pale and mysterious and more just crawled out a cave. I'm desperate to get some colour and stop physically glowing every time I bare some skin in the sun!

4. Sea swim

Morning swims, afternoon swims, evening swims... I can''t wait to get back in the water!

5. Adventures!

Along with getting back in the sea, I'm looking forward to getting back into kayaking, cliff jumping and finally try paddle boarding!

6. Summer clothes

There's only so many times you can get away with wearing the standard leggings and jumper combo every day. High time for a summer shop haul I think!

7. Graduation

Before my actual graduation in July, we have our graduation ball in June. I love any excuse to dress up and have a few too many drinks!

8. BBQs

I had my first ever BBQ on the beach last year and I'm determined to have another one this year! I love a good sausage and burger...

9. Exploring Cornwall

I know I keep harking on about it, but as I'm leaving Cornwall in a couple of months I'm determined to tick off those last few places on my "to visit" list! Cornish road trip yeahh!

10. Holiday!

I've got my eye on you Sicily...
