Winter Pinspiration

Yep, I admit it, I'm a Pinterest addict. So what better way to put this addiction to good use than by sharing some pretty pictures with you lovely readers! Introducing my new 'Pinspiration' series! Every week (or so I'll try) I'll post a series of my favourite pins following a certain theme, or just what I'm liking that week. This week's theme: winter! Because it's so horrible and rainy and cold outside we might as well appreciate some of the good things about winter!

Crackling fire, knitted socks, cup of tea and a crumpet, this scene just looks perfect.

Winter weather equals hot chocolate! Made even better if you have snowman marshmallows to hand!

I absolutely love novelty animal shaped foods! Sausage-stuffed piglet buns, like a cute alternative version to sausage rolls!

Ok, so maybe not your typical winter drink, but I'm seriously craving a fruit detox right now! I love smoothies and have been trawling the internet for different recipes. I'm not a huge fan of pineapple but how amazing is the contrast of colours in this pineapple berry smoothie!

Again, not your typical winter attire, but this would be great for summer festivals or even just to wear down the gym, especially as it's apparently a sports bra!

Warm bread on a cold day, does anything sound more dreamy?! I'd love to bake more adventurous types of bread, and this "bacon jalapeno poppy cheesy bread" just sounds incredible!

I develop a slight obsession with porridge over the winter months, but only ever have it with a ridiculous amount of sugar. Not only does this chai spiced oatmeal look so pretty but I bet it tastes incredible too!

Another chai flavoured pin! I'm not a huge fan of apple cider (give me a berry cider anyday though!) but I'm intrigued by this hot chai apple cider. 

I'm on the hunt for some cute yet appropriate winter footwear, and these desert boots just look perfect! Practical yet adorable!
