After three years in Cornwall at University of Exeter, last week marked the end of my time at university with my graduation! It was a rollercoaster of emotions kind of day, from stress and nerves to overwhelming relief and inspiration, all of which ended in a slightly teary Beth (forget about falling over on stage, how about crying on stage?!), but it was a day to remember and a perfect way to commemorate the end of my degree with friends and family.

Although the day began with a slightly dismal pouring of rain, it brightened up just in time for our ceremony! We were extremely lucky to have our graduation in a gorgeous location: Truro Cathedral.
After a truly inspirational speech from Baroness Floella Benjamin, it was time to walk up and receive those important pieces of paper, but not before a cuddle and a few words of wisdom from our special Chancellor!

Out we walked into the sunshine as University of Exeter's latest BA (Hons) English graduates!

Graduation isn't fully complete without the traditional motorboard toss!
And a few family photos...
Of course I had to take full advantage of the beautiful sunny weather and have a few photos taken in my favourite part on campus: the Italian gardens.
Posing on a bench in true photoshoot style...
And one more outside the old English department.
We were then treated to a college reception complete with Prosecco and nibbles. Who am I to turn down the offer of cupcakes?
And that's it! My time at university is officially over. Although it's been fun, it's time to say goodbye to student life and look forward to many more adventures in the real world!
Love, Beth xxx
